The CDC Inc serves newcomers from diverse cultural backgrounds from many parts of the world, as well. The CDC hopes to work both locally and nationally.
Locally, the CDC's programs will seek to respond to the needs of newcomers to the USA.
At the national level, it will strive to increase the awareness of refugees and immigrants on African issues. The CDC will bring an African perspective to issues that affect African refugees here and in Africa.

The CDC Inc works with both the private and public sectors, networking with other NGOs, universities, the United Nations, and various African governments.
